Christine Ruffing is a licensed acupuncturist (L.Ac.) in the state of SC and is nationally certified by the NCCAOM. She founded Infinity Acupuncture and Sports Medicine, LLC in 2013. Christine earned her undergraduate diploma at The Ohio State University and her graduate diploma at Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine in North Carolina. The graduate coursework included over 2100 hours of training, including a year of practicing internship. After passing 3 national competency board exams, she was granted the title of Diplomate of Acupuncture (Dipl.Ac.) at a national level. Christine has also studied tui na extensively with internationally known instructors, Tom Bisio, Frank Butler, and Jen Resnick (Zheng GuTui Na), and Eileen Han (Tan-style, 1-2-3 Balance Method). She practices here in Charleston.
Christine’s approach is to give each individual a customized treatment. Treatments are incrementally adjusted at each subsequent appointment to reflect the changes within your progress. She takes into consideration every one of your ailments, not restricted to one part of your body or one diagnosis. Your comfort, both physically and mentally while under Christine’s care, is essential. You are listened to, and your questions are answered. Finally, private sessions ensure your emotional comfort, allowing you to provide Christine with the details that she needs to design a thorough treatment plan for you. We have yet to see the “standardized patient” and you won’t be treated like one.
Christine has two wonderful children, a sweet rescued Newfoundland dog and 2 rescued cats. When she has time, she relaxes by spending time with kids and friends, talking energetic theory and continuing the learning process with colleagues, and of course, at the beach or enjoying all that Charleston has to offer.
